25-26 October 2016, Vientiane, Laos
Over recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the key role that innovation plays in successful business, in particular amongst unpredictable yet developing environments such as Southeast Asia. The challenges that are faced in this high-risk, complex region, which includes limited access to resources, have provoked a deeper understanding and dependency on innovation and entrepreneurship. Attendees at this Conference will hear the latest research on how best to develop and commercialise opportunities and diffuse innovation in a rapidly developing market environment.
Considering the ASEAN economies’ reliance upon the global market for continued economic growth, there is a great need for researchers within ASEAN and outside the region to provide direction to trigger more effective innovation and new venture creation allowing regional stakeholders to contribute to the growth of these nations. The demand for greater knowledge and understanding regarding strategies and policies is high at a national level for industries and individual firms.
